Moon Gate Mages · Last updated 4 November 2026

In short: Moon Gate Mages has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or location. It sends anonymous records of how battles went and how smoothly the game ran, so we can balance and fix it. Your save stays on your phone. This version shows no ads and sells nothing.

Who we are

Moon Gate Mages is made by One Man Game Studio, one developer in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). We are responsible for the data described here. Contact: onemangamestudiopersonal@gmail.com.

What the game collects

The game does not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos or files.

Network data

The game and its art are downloaded from Google Play. The records are sent to a small service we run on Cloudflare (stats.onemangamestudio.dev). Like any internet connection, this shows Cloudflare your IP address; it is used only to deliver the record and to block abuse (too many requests from one address). Our service never stores your IP address, with the records or anywhere else.

Why we use it

To balance the levels, find bugs and crashes, and make the game run well on more phones. Our legal basis under the UK GDPR is our legitimate interest in improving the game. The records cannot identify you.

Ads and purchases

This version of Moon Gate Mages shows no ads, contains no advertising code and has no in-app purchases. If a later version adds optional rewarded ads (through Google AdMob) or purchases (through Google Play), we will update this page before it is released, and where the law requires it the game will ask for your consent first.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent any data. It is shared only with the companies that run the service for us: Cloudflare (receives the records and hosts this website), Google (delivers the game and its art through Google Play) and our server host. We may disclose data if the law requires it. See Cloudflare's and Google's privacy policies.

Where it is stored

The records arrive in a Cloudflare database kept in the European Union. From there we move them, normally within a day, to our own server in the European Union, and delete them from Cloudflare.

How long we keep it

Children

Moon Gate Mages is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you think a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights and deleting your data

Under the UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete data about you, or object to its use. Because the records are not linked to you, we may not be able to tell which are yours. Email us your phone model and roughly when you played, and we will delete the records that match. To stop sending any records, uninstall the game. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
